    BYOD (Bring Your Own Device), is a term used when users bring in a phone, tablet or laptop that is not provided by the company, but is still connected to the company network and even a company mailbox.

    Many company email users do not realise that the connection gives the company some control over the device, which could be wiped for security reasons.

    If users are connecting a laptop, tablet and a phone, in addition to their computer and office phone, then the network addressing and wireless capacity will soon need to be upgraded to cope.

The helpdesk is manned here at our office Monday to Friday, 9am-5:30pm and you are always guaranteed to be speaking to one of our highly skilled engineers.
